Salmon Arm Branch 62 has a current membership of 507 ordinary and associate 15 of which are Life Members. The Legion operates and maintains a lounge with the help of one fulltime secretary/manager, two part time lounge staff and a number of volunteers. Hours of operation are:

Monday to Thursday: 11 am - 6 pm

Friday: 11am – 7pm

Saturday: 11am -6pm

Sunday: Closed

The following activities are offered at the branch Pool, Shuffleboard and Darts are available on a daily basis. Monday evening is scheduled Crib and Thursday evening is scheduled Darts.   On Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm we hold a meat draw which consists of four draws each having four prizes plus a consolation draw with four prizes.The second and fourth Saturday of every month dances are held offering live entertainment and a light lunch.

The past year funds collected through our annual Poppy campaign and our Ways and Means Committee donated over $20,000.00 back to the community in the form of Bursaries in the amount of $4,950.00 donation to the Hospital Foundation $5000.00 donations were also made to Salvation Army Food Bank, Women’s Shelter, Shuswap Hospice, Children’s Emergency Foundation,Juvenile Diabetes, Veterans Assistance Society Relay for Life just to name a few. The branch members in conjunction with the help of the Ladies auxiliary continue to help and support the community where and whenever possible.
